Michelle Cook joined the Royal Oak Schools Board of Education in January 2023.
She has been a resident of Royal Oak for 22 years where she lives with her husband Dwayne and their son, Calvin. She is a proud PTA member and ROMS parent.
She is a public school teacher for 25 years working in Pre-K through 3rd grade.
Michelle received her Bachelor of Arts degree in elementary education from Western Michigan University and her Masters from Eastern Michigan in Teaching Students of Other Languages (TESOL).
"I want to lend perspective as an educator and parent to the Royal Oak Schools board to ensure a quality education for all of our students," she said.
