The Oakland County Athletic Directors Association recently named Royal Oak Schools Athletic Coordinator Pamela Moore as their Athletic Director of the year.

At the Oakland County Holiday Party and Awards Ceremony on December 15, Moore was honored as the 2022 Athletic Director of the Year. Pam has been part of Royal Oak Schools for almost 37 years in a variety of capacities. She started when she was just 16 years old as a Co-op student. Brian Gordon, ROS Athletics and Activities Director said, "Pam's reputation as being the "Go To Person" extends beyond Oakland County. She is highly regarded both at the local and state level."

ROHS Assistant Principal Alyssa Reimold wrote on her Twitter page, "This is a well deserved honor. We are grateful for her work and leadership in Athletics. We wouldn't be able to do this work without her. Congratulations Pam!"

Pam is a graduate of Royal Oak Kimball High School, where she played tennis for the Knights. Mrs. Moore has spent her entire career in Athletics. She has worked alongside 9 different colleagues all of which have depended on her for guidance and support. Pam has been an active member in several organizations including MIAAA, OAA, OCADA, and COMSAC to name a few.

"There’s greatness that comes with people in the world of athletics, Jordan, Magic, LeBron...and then there's Pam Moore," said Gordon. "People know Pam across the region and even the state."
