As of 07-16-2026:
We are still waiting on the Michigan budget to be signed before we know if meals will remain free for all students in the 2026 2027 school year.
If/when it gets signed:
One breakfast and one lunch will be free.
Extra entrees, second meals and all ala carte items (milk, chips, water, cookies etc..) will be charged for and cannot be purchased if a student's food service account is negative.
You can fill out a free/reduced meal application .
Applications can be completed online, or a paper copy can be completed and mailed to Royal Oak High School 1500 Lexington Blvd., Royal Oak, MI. 48073 ATTN: Food Service
