Deb Anderson, who has lived in Royal Oak since 1980, has been on the school board since 2006. She has two daughters who graduated from Royal Oak Schools and has been involved in many capacities with various school groups, along with some great community organizations such as the Royal Oak Schools Foundation.
Anderson, along with Maryanne VanHaitsma, has been named to the Oakland County School Boards Association Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Committee. The committee's mission is to help remove systemic barriers to diversity, equity and inclusion in all Oakland County K-12 public schools. (Read more here.)
